Rosa Brodie
Rosa “B” Brodie’s education got off to a good start at Cedar Grove School where her principal from the first thru third grades was her mother Rosalie Andrews. She went on to graduate from Tarboro’s Patillo High School, earned her BS from St. Augustine’s College, and her MS from Howard University. A Nash County native since 1957, Brodie has taught school in Nash and Edgecombe County Public Schools and at Nash Community College. Her extensive educational and community service has earned her numerous honors, including North Carolina’s Order of the Long Leaf Pine.
